Details: It is emphasised that in this respect October 2025 was the most difficult month. At that time, 25 combined attacks were launched against the Group's infrastructure.
According to the company's calculations, since 2022, more than 1,700 weapons have been used against Naftogaz Group facilities, including missiles, drones and artillery, of which 1,399 were used in 2025.
"A direct consequence of the attacks has been the loss of domestic production, which has forced the company to import additional volumes of gas to ensure the stable passage of the winter heating season," the statement reads.
Background:
- The Naftogaz Group has signed another grant agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worth €85 million for the purchase of gas.
- The funds will be used to procure additional volumes of imported gas in order to partially compensate for the loss of domestic production as a result of Russian attacks.
