Details: The ministry said its air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed 77 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions, temporarily occupied Crimea and the waters of the Sea of Azov.
In particular, 24 drones were downed over Krasnodar Krai, 13 over occupied Crimea, nine over Kursk Oblast and nine over Rostov Oblast.
Drones were also intercepted in Belgorod, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd and Voronezh oblasts as well as over the Sea of Azov.
Meanwhile, the ministry did not mention the strike on a missile production plant in Russia's Udmurt Republic, although the governor had confirmed "a drone attack". Some media outlets and Telegram channels suggested the strike may have involved Flamingo cruise missiles.
