Zelenskyy orders deployment of additional air defence forces to Sumy Oblast

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to deploy additional forces to protect the airspace in Sumy Oblast.

… I instructed the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to deploy additional forces to protect the sky over the Sumy Oblast. The day before, in the Shostka district, a Russian drone struck an ambulance vehicle – it was a deliberate attack. Tragically, three people were killed. [The] Russians must feel the consequences for every such strike, and all border and frontline regions must feel that protection against Russian drones is increasing."
