Traffic police vehicle blown up in Moscow: one officer killed, another injured

An unknown individual has blown up a patrol police vehicle with law enforcement officers inside near Savyolovsky railway station in Moscow.

Details: The explosion occurred at around midnight. Early reports indicate that an unidentified man threw an explosive device into the traffic police vehicle.

A police lieutenant was killed at the scene as a result of the blast. Another law enforcement officer was injured and taken to hospital.

The search for the suspect is currently ongoing.
