UK and Ukraine reject Russian claim about nuclear or dirty bomb for Kyiv

The UK government and Ukraine's Foreign Ministry have dismissed Russian claims that Paris and London are preparing to arm Kyiv with a nuclear weapon or at least a dirty bomb, calling the allegations false and absurd.

Details: A spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Russia's claims about a nuclear or dirty bomb are untrue and that Moscow is trying to turn attention away from its crimes.

More details: Meanwhile, Heorhii Tykhyi, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called Russia's "wonder weapon" claims "absurd" in a comment to Reuters.

Quote: "Russian officials, known for their impressive record of lies, are once again trying to fabricate the old 'dirty bomb' nonsense."
