Russians attack Ukraine with 187 drones overnight, 14 locations hit

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 187 drones on the night of 26-27 February. Ukrainian air defence forces have managed to destroy or jam 165 of them.

Quote: "Early reports indicate that as of 08:30, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 165 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.

Hits by 20 UAVs had been recorded at 14 locations."

Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

About 120 out of the 187 UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.
