Russian Defence Ministry claims to have downed about 100 Ukrainian drones, 40 over Crimea

The Russian Defence Ministry has claimed that its air defence systems downed 97 "Ukrainian drones", including 40 over temporarily occupied Crimea and 10 over the Black Sea.

Details: The largest number of drones, 40, was downed over temporarily occupied Crimea. Another 22 were destroyed over Bryansk Oblast, 16 over Belgorod Oblast and 10 over the Black Sea.

The Russian Defence Ministry added that drones had also been downed in other areas: four over Krasnodar Krai, where a fire broke out at an oil refinery, two over Kursk Oblast, two over Kaluga Oblast and one over Tula Oblast.
