"I briefed them on the security situation and on what our intelligence expects from Russia in the near future. Of course, we also discussed the prospects for negotiations," Zelenskyy said.

He thanked the Netherlands for its willingness to continue supporting Ukraine and noted that air defence systems remain a priority need.

"The Netherlands contributes significantly both through the PURL initiative and on a bilateral basis. We will continue this cooperation," Zelenskyy added.

"The main focus of the talks was strengthening Ukraine's air defence, continuing the implementation of the PURL initiative, advancing diplomacy to achieve a just and dignified peace and further deepening defence cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands," Zelenskyy wrote on X.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also described the joint visit of the newly appointed ministers as an important signal of support.

Quote from Sybiha: "I welcomed the new Dutch government's clear commitments: more than €3 billion in annual support for Ukraine until 2029, and firm backing for our future EU and NATO membership. These steps strengthen Ukraine's and all of Europe's long-term security.

I thanked the Netherlands for its leadership in military, energy, and financial assistance. We also discussed expanding joint drone production, Ukraine's pursuit of a lasting peace, stronger pressure on the aggressor, and the establishment of the Special Tribunal in The Hague."
