Ukraine has come through toughest winter of war but Russia plans new strikes – Zelenskyy

Ukraine has weathered the most difficult winter of the war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said, warning that Russia is preparing fresh attacks on infrastructure.

Quote: "Today is a day when each of us can say, quite rightly: we have come through this winter, the most difficult in all the years of the war. The Russians wanted to turn this winter into the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainians. But Ukraine did not break. We have preserved our energy system."

Details: Zelenskyy said Russia "has no intention of stopping its strikes".

Quote: "This is a fact: they are preparing new attacks on infrastructure. Intelligence is providing the relevant information. So everyone whose duty is to protect Ukraine from strikes must be just as focused this spring as they were in winter. Every threat must be met with decisive action and Russian assets downed to the fullest extent possible."
