Details: Meanwhile, DeepState analysts estimate that the total increase in Russian-controlled territory in February amounted to 126 sq km – twice less than in January and the lowest figure since July 2024.

The largest share of Russian advances occurred on the Pokrovsk front (32%). This was followed by the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk fronts with 23% and 16% respectively. Together, these areas accounted for 39% of all advances while representing only 9% of the total number of attacks. The Kostiantynivka front accounted for 21%, and the Sumy front for 7%.

Syrskyi also said that total Russian losses over the three winter months amounted to about 92,850 personnel killed and wounded – an average of 1,031 per day.

"Over the three winter months, we killed or injured more enemy soldiers than the enemy mobilised into its ranks," the commander-in-chief said.

According to Syrskyi, Ukrainian forces are conducting effective active operations on the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole fronts and are strengthening control around Kupiansk. "We continue to contain the enemy in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration area. We are holding the line," he wrote.
