One killed and seven injured as Russian drone hits passenger train in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – photo

One person has been killed and another seven injured in a Russian drone strike on a suburban passenger train in the Kryvyi Rih district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Quote from Hanzha: "The Russians struck transport infrastructure. A fire broke out."
Details: Hanzha said a man who was injured in the attack later died in hospital. A 10-year-old girl and a 17-year-old young man were among the injured.
Five injured people remain in hospital. Doctors described their condition as moderate.
Oleksii Kuleba said it was another Russian attack on a civilian train belonging to state-run railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). A Russian drone hit one of the carriages of a moving suburban train.

He said the locomotive crew immediately stopped the train. Passengers were evacuated and provided with first aid. Emergency workers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, railway staff and paramedics from nearby stations and depots arrived at the scene.
Further transport is being arranged to take all passengers to their destinations.
Background: Russian forces conducted an attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih on the night of 1-2 March, sparking several fires at a local factory. A man was killed in the Russian strike on the Synelnykove district.
