Ukrainian Contra-Drone unveils new compact radar that can detect aerial targets from 15 km
The Ukrainian company Contra-Drone has unveiled the CD-T10, a new radar, and the Sense 4, a drone detector.

Details: Contra-Drone was a corporate sponsor of the event.
The new Contra-Drone T10 radar operates in the X-band and is capable of detecting aerial targets at a distance of up to 15 km and at altitudes of up to 3,000 m. Its developers say it can identify both large objects, such as Shahed loitering munitions, and small first-person view (FPV) drones.
"We can even see birds on the radar," Khrapchynskyi told Oboronka at the Contra-Drone stand. "But they are filtered out by specific signatures – the algorithms analyse radar cross-section, speed and movement patterns. This allows us to determine exactly what is in the air and what target we are dealing with."
The company emphasises that the radar can detect any aerial target in the air. It is also capable of identifying objects such as guided aerial bombs.
According to the developer, the radar is already undergoing testing as part of mobile fire groups. It enables operators to detect aerial targets in advance and get interception tools ready – from a Browning machine gun to missiles or interceptor drones. Mass production of the T-10 is planned after the testing cycle is completed, with large-scale deliveries expected by the end of 2026.
The second new product is the Sense 4 drone video-channel detector with an expanded frequency range.
"It has four frequency bands instead of the three used in standard detectors. This system operates at up to 8.2 GHz and can de-invert inverted video," Yurkov noted.
Sense 4 can operate autonomously for up to 11 hours and covers all the frequencies that the Russians currently use most actively. According to the developers, over 20% of drones now operate in the 6-8.2 GHz range, which means conventional detectors cannot detect them.
The device has already undergone testing and is now at the codification stage. Its price is currently UAH 42,000 (about US$1,000).
Quote from Yurkov: "It isn't just the military that needs it. In frontline areas, the enemy attacks any targets that even slightly resemble military ones – fuel lorries, ambulances, vehicles belonging to the State Emergency Service or the police. With this system, a drone can be detected in advance: the driver will see that a target is moving in their direction and will be able to make a timely decision."
