Ukrainian forces hit ammo storage point, UAV command post and Russian communication tower – General Staff

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian ammunition storage point in Donetsk Oblast, a communications tower in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and a UAV command post in Russia's Belgorod Oblast on the night of 4-5 March. Assessments of the damage are ongoing.

Quote: "Units from Ukraine's defence forces struck several enemy targets on 4 March and on the night of 4-5 March as part of actions to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor."

Details: The strikes hit an ammunition storage point near Berdianske in Donetsk Oblast and a munitions unloading site in Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Other targets included Russian logistical support facilities: materiel and equipment depots in Berdiansk and Shevchenkivske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and in Pryazovske in Donetsk Oblast as well as a fuel and lubricant storage facility near Mariupol.

Command and military infrastructure were also targeted: a command observation post near Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a Russian UAV command post in Murom in Russia's Belgorod Oblast, and a communications tower in Prymorsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

"Information on the extent of the damage and other consequences is being confirmed," the report said.
