Russian drone hits Kyiv-Sumy train carrying 200 passengers

A drone struck a train travelling from Kyiv to Sumy on the morning of 8 March in the Sumy district while up to 200 passengers were on board.

Details: The train was travelling to the city of Sumy when the attack happened. No one was injured.
According to the prosecutor's office, early reports indicate that the locomotive was damaged by a Lancet-type drone.
Passengers were taken to the final stop by another locomotive.
Background: On the night of 7-8 March, members of the Atesh underground resistance movement destroyed an electric locomotive in the Russian city of Bryansk despite tightened security at the site.
