Details: In addition to drones, Russian forces dropped 1,530 guided aerial bombs and launched 39 missiles. As reported, most of the targets were neutralised.
The Ukrainian president also recalled talks with European partners on 8 March.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "But more protection is needed, and it is needed every day.
First and foremost, these are air defence missiles, and therefore contributions and deliveries within the PURL initiative are key – and I thank everyone who continues their support.
Sanctions against Russia and its accomplices must be tightened further. Everything that helps the Russian Federation finance and continue this war must be blocked."
Background: On the night of 7-8 March, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 117 UAVs, about 70 of which were Shahed drones.
