UP editor-in-chief Sevğil Musaieva commented on the situation:

"We consider the removal of this video to be an act of censorship. The material does not contain any information that constitutes private-life secrecy. All individuals captured in the footage are former or current public officials – that is, public figures whose activities are of direct public interest."

According to Musaieva, in a democratic society journalists have the right to inform citizens about the actions of officials, particularly when those actions concern the abuse of power even after leaving office.

"That is why we expect the platform to reconsider its decision and restore access to the video," she stressed.

Background: In the investigation, Ukrainska Pravda for the first time examined the activities and contacts of Andrii Yermak after he stepped down as Head of the Office of the President.
