UP editor-in-chief Sevğil Musaieva commented: "We consider the removal of this video to be an act of censorship. The material does not contain any confidential information pertaining to privacy. All the individuals captured in the footage are former or current public officials – that is, public figures whose activities are of direct public interest."

Musaieva said that in a democratic society, journalists have the right to inform the public about the actions of officials, particularly when those actions concern the abuse of power even after they have left office.

"That is why we expect the platform to reconsider its decision and restore access to the video," she stressed.

Background: In the investigation, titled "The Godfather working remotely", Ukrainska Pravda examined Andrii Yermak's activities and contacts since he stepped down as head of the President's Office.
