Russians continue attempts to fully capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad

Russian forces continue to press on in their attempts to fully capture the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast, but units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces are holding back the offensive and inflicting losses on the Russians.

Details: Within the corps' area of responsibility, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling attacks by Russian forces that are attempting to advance to fully seize Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

Details: The 7th Rapid Response Corps reported that over the past week Ukrainian units have:
- killed or wounded 270 Russian soldiers
- shot down or jammed 763 loitering munitions
- destroyed or damaged 21 vehicles and motorcycles
- hit 55 UAV launch points, as well as 7 artillery pieces and multiple-launch rocket systems.
Background: A total of 130 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day. Russian forces have attacked the Kostiantynivka and Huliaipole fronts almost 40 times in total, while Ukrainian defenders have repelled 22 assaults on the Pokrovsk front.
