Russia attempts to break through in border village of Popivka in Sumy Oblast

Russian troops are unsuccessfully trying to break through in the village of Popivka in Sumy Oblast, but have not succeeded and cannot establish a foothold there.

Quote: "In Popivka, the Russians have been trying to break through, but without success; they are not gaining a foothold."

Details: Trehubov said that the settlement stands empty, as civilian residents were evacuated from there at the beginning of the year.

Trehubov also added that the Russians mostly use drones against the settlement.

Background: On 7 March, DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, reported that the Russians had advanced near Popivka.
