Russian energy giant Gazprom has claimed that its facilities supporting the TurkStream gas pipeline came under an aerial attack.

TurkStream is a gas pipeline that runs from Russia to Türkiye across the Black Sea. It was built as a replacement for the South Stream pipeline, which was intended to connect Russia and the EU but was cancelled after Russia launched its aggression against Ukraine in 2014.

Background: Ukraine struck production facilities in the Russian city of Bryansk, where explosions were heard and heavy smoke was observed.
