Russia attacks Ukraine with Iskander missile and 126 drones: air defence downs 117 UAVs

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 126 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones on the night of 12-13 March. About 80 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 117 drones.
Hits by a ballistic missile and eight UAVs had been recorded at seven locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at five locations.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
