Russians strike bus in Kharkiv Oblast: three killed, four injured – photos
Russian soldiers struck a bus travelling from the city of Kharkiv to the settlement of Velykyi Burluk on the morning of 13 March, killing three people and injuring four others.

Details: Kanashevych said the strike occurred at about 09:15 on a road near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka in the Velykyi Burluk hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] Initially it was thought that the Russian troops had used a Lancet-type drone.
Quote: "As a result of the attack, a bus travelling on the Kharkiv-Velykyi Burluk route was hit. Early information indicates one civilian was killed and four others were injured. The details and circumstances are being established."
Update: Police later clarified that the 53-year-old bus driver was killed as a result of the Russian strike.
Four people were injured – three women aged 44, 53 and 59 who were on the bus, and a 73-year-old local resident.
Further update: At 12:45, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that the death toll has risen to three.
Investigators found that Russian forces carried out a missile strike near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka in the Kupiansk district at about 09:05.
Early reports indicate that an Iskander-M missile was used.
Quote from the prosecutor's office: "The bus was nearby at the time. As a result of the strike, three people were killed: the bus driver and two passengers. Four other people – three female bus passengers and a local resident – were injured.
The bus and several houses were damaged."
