Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Russia had supplied Iran with Shahed-type drones, which Tehran has already used for strikes on US bases and countries in the Middle East.

Quote: "They [the Russians – ed.] are using Iranian licences. You know that they built and produced a lot of drones. They gave them. I have 100% facts that the Iranian regime used these drones against American bases and against Iran's neighbours in the Middle East."
Details: Zelenskyy, citing intelligence data, said that these Iranian drones contain Russian components.
Quote: "That is the first. And the second point, my intelligence told me next: they think that they [the Russians – ed.] share intelligence information with the Iranian regime. They help them.
My intelligence also told me that if Europe and the United States can help Ukraine with intelligence in this war, it means that Russia can help the Iranian regime."
Background: Ebrahim Azizi, a member of the Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran's parliament, claimed that Ukraine has turned its territory into a legitimate target for Iran because of supposed drone assistance to Israel.
