Russia hits checkpoint near Chernihiv: fatality and injuries reported

A Russian drone attacked a checkpoint near the village of Novoselivka in the Kyselivka hromada in the Chernihiv district on the afternoon of 15 March. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Chernihiv City Military Administration said the attack resulted in one fatality and several injuries among military personnel.

A police officer is also known to have been injured.

Quote from Bryzhynskyi: "Unidentified explosive devices dropped from the UAV are still detonating at the scene; the appropriate services are working at the scene."

Background: On 14 March, two medics were killed near the village of Chervona Khvylia in Kharkiv Oblast due to a Russian attack.
