Working group set up in Ukraine to focus on reopening airports

Ukraine's Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories has set up a working group to prepare for the reopening of Ukrainian airports.

Details: Kuleba has signed a degree establishing the working group.
The group, which will function as an advisory body to the ministry, is tasked with developing proposals regarding the resumption of civil aviation flights.
Meetings are expected to be held both in person and online, after which recommendations on reopening airports will be drawn up for the ministry's leadership.
Deputy Minister Serhii Derkach has been appointed head of the group. He will also be able to bring in representatives of central government bodies, local authorities, companies and institutions in the aviation sector.
The group includes representatives of the State Emergency Service, the Agency for Restoration, the Air Force of Ukraine, the State Aviation Administration and the ministry itself, as well as the directors of Boryspil, Kyiv and Lviv airports and Andrii Yarmak, the director of UkSATSE, an agency tasked with ensuring high-quality and safe air navigation services in Ukraine's airspace.
Background: Earlier, it was reported that European budget airlines are preparing to return to Ukraine as soon as airports reopen to passenger traffic.
