Quote from Fedorov: "To be faster than the enemy on the battlefield, we are creating a system of military technology competence centres within the Ministry of Defence. In the near future, a separate centre will be established for each key area of modern warfare: drones, Middle Strike, Deep Strike, artillery and others."

Details: According to Fedorov, the task of these centres will be to continuously analyse the battlefield and emerging technologies and determine the next steps in their development.

Regarding the A1 Defense AI Center, he noted that it would help convert combat experience and frontline data into technological solutions more quickly and accelerate the introduction of innovations in the armed forces.

The minister added that Ukraine is speeding up the integration of artificial intelligence into warfare by launching the A1 Defense AI Center.

Among the centre's key tasks will be analysing combat data, forecasting Russian actions, developing autonomous systems and creating new command and control tools.

Fedorov said AI solutions would become part of every domain of modern warfare – from intelligence to command – and stressed that Ukraine's goal is to build Europe's most effective defence system, an AI-driven next-generation army based on rapid innovation, autonomous systems and network advantage.

Background: Ukraine has opened up opportunities to train artificial intelligence models for unmanned systems using real combat data.
