Eight people, including two children, were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast late on the evening of 17 March.

Details: The Russians struck a residential area in the city twice between 22:20 and 22:46.

The prosecutors say those injured are two boys aged 5 and 14 as well as five women and one man aged between 30 and 72.

Those affected were diagnosed as having blast injuries, cuts, bruises and concussion. They received medical treatment. The youngest child is in intensive care.

Damage was caused to two apartment buildings, 25 houses and three vehicles.

The prosecutors added that the type of weapon used by Russian forces in the attack is being established.
