Ukrainian forces repel Russian motorised assault on Pokrovsk front

Ukraine's defence forces have repelled a Russian motorised assault targeting the settlement of Hryshyne on the Pokrovsk front, the first in the past three months.

Details: The Corps reported that the most recent unsuccessful motorised attack occurred in early December 2025, when Russian forces tried to storm the settlement using ATVs.

In the latest attack on Hryshyne, the Russians used 13 motorcycles. Ukrainian troops from the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade and the Skelia unit, Ukraine's 25th Separate Assault Regiment, coordinating with nearby units, destroyed nine motorcycles before they reached the settlement, while the other four were wiped out inside Hryshyne.

In total, confirmed Russian personnel losses amount to 17, according to the Corps.

Meanwhile, Russian forces attempted a coordinated breakthrough near Myrnohrad using two MT-LB multi-purpose amphibious armoured vehicles.

The attack failed, with both vehicles destroyed and their crews eliminated, the 7th Rapid Response Corps reported.
