Four injured and buildings damaged in large-scale Russian drone attack on Odesa – photos

Russian forces carried out a large-scale attack on Odesa with strike drones on the night of 18-19 March: four people were injured and hits were recorded on a high-rise residential building and a non-residential building.

Quote: "Hits were recorded in residential areas of the city following the enemy attack. Two high-rise residential buildings, a house in the historic centre and buildings in a built-up area were damaged.

Three people are known to have been injured, two of whom have been hospitalised."

Details: Local journalists reported that over 10 explosions had been heard in the city at around midnight. Large-scale fires broke out at the scenes.

Residents have been sharing photos and videos on social media showing significant damage to civilian infrastructure and buildings engulfed in flames.

Update: In the morning, Kiper reported that the number of people injured in the night attack had risen to four. Two men aged 27 and 32 and two women aged 46 and 70 sustained injuries.

Two of the women and one of the men were taken to hospital, while another person was treated at the scene. According to Kiper, their lives are not in danger.

One of the Shaheds also hit a high-rise building: several apartments there were partially destroyed, and the facade and windows were damaged. The strike also caused damage to a municipal facility, some of its equipment and 11 vehicles.
