Ukrainian delegation arrives in US for meeting with Trump's envoys Witkoff and Kushner

A Ukrainian negotiating team has arrived in Miami for bilateral talks with representatives of the United States.

Details: The Ukrainian delegation includes Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council; Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office; Budanov's First Deputy Serhii Kyslytsia; and Davyd Arakhamia, leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.
The US side is expected to be represented by White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump.
Background:
- It was previously reported that Ukrainian and US negotiating teams will meet in Miami on Saturday 21 March for talks that will be attended by Witkoff.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined his expectations for the Ukrainian delegation's visit to the US, during which preparations for the next trilateral meeting will be among the topics discussed.
- He also explained that Ukraine will be represented by only a political delegation at the talks, citing the lack of "political will" to end the war. Russia is not expected to take part in these negotiations.
