Two people killed and maternity hospitals damaged in Russian drone attack on central Ivano-Frankivsk

Two people have been killed and two maternity hospitals have been damaged after a UAV launched by Russian forces attacked the centre of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk on the afternoon of 24 March.

Details: Speaking on Suspilne, Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv said there had been an attempted strike on an office building.
Quote from Martsinkiv: "Sadly, windows have been damaged, particularly at the maternity hospital and surrounding buildings. Everyone at the perinatal centre was in shelters. Everyone remained alive and unharmed. Of course, we will compensate people for their losses."
Details: Emergency workers and other relevant services are working at the scene.
Quote: "Sadly, we can see that the enemy is also launching strikes during the day, trying to hit the central part of the city. This was an attempted strike not far from the city centre."
Update: Onyshchuk said that two people have been killed as a result of the Russian attack on central Ivano-Frankivsk.
She said four people have been injured, including a six-year-old child, and all are receiving the necessary medical treatment.
The buildings of the city and oblast maternity hospitals have also been damaged, along with around 10 residential buildings. All relevant services are working at the scene.

- He said that Russia continued its aerial terror after the Air Force released its morning report on the results of the overnight combined attack.
- From 09:00 until 15:00, more than 400 attack drones entered Ukrainian airspace from the south, north and across the contact line, while 392 Russian drones were recorded between 18:00 on 23 March and 09:00 on 24 March.
