For reference: The port of Ust-Luga is one of Russia's largest ports on the Baltic Sea and a key hub for exporting Russian oil products. It is located about 1,000 km from the Ukrainian border. The facility is strategically important for funding Russia's war effort, as it generates significant foreign currency revenues for the Russian budget.
