Details: Infantryman Blondyn ("Blonde") said that despite several failed rotation attempts disrupted by Russia, this time the men managed to get out successfully. The weather played a major part in that.
The youngest member of the group, known as Zhyd ("Jew"), who has just turned 21, recalls how they first entered the position: "They started hitting us on the very first day, half an hour after we replaced the previous group. They must have used about 40 FPV drones on us."
He said the Russians then had spent two days trying without pause to destroy the infantrymen's position.
Reports said that during the entire time on the positions, the men had managed to kill more than 10 Russians, though the main job of mopping up enemy personnel had been carried out by drone operators. Direct contact happened mostly in fog and rain, when the Russians managed to get right up to the Ukrainian infantry.
The Kholodnyi Yar Brigade has also released a video showing clashes with the Russians, injuries, shared daily life and how the infantrymen were supplied with medicine and food over the course of several months.
