Russia attacks Ukraine with 153 drones, 130 UAVs downed, hits recorded at 11 locations

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 153 drones of various types since the evening of 25 March. Ukrainian air defence forces have downed 130 of them.

Quote: "As of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 154 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.

Hits by 16 UAVs had been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 5 locations."

Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

About 100 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace. The Air Force urged people to observe safety measures.
