Two unidentified drones crash in Finland

Several unidentified UAVs have violated Finland's airspace and crashed on its territory.

Details: The ministry said the Finnish military had detected several small objects flying slowly at low altitude over the Baltic Sea and in south-eastern Finland on the morning of Sunday 29 March.
The Finnish Air Force carried out a reconnaissance mission using an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet.
According to the ministry, one UAV crashed north of the city of Kouvola and another to the east of it. The city lies about 50 km from the border with Russia.
Police cordoned off the areas for further investigation.
Quote from Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen: "Unmanned aerial vehicles have entered Finnish territory. We take this matter very seriously. The security authorities have responded immediately. The investigation into the circumstances is ongoing, and more detailed information will be released once information has been verified."
Background:
- During a series of recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian ports around St Petersburg, several UAVs strayed into the territory of the Baltic states, with two crashing in Latvia and Estonia.
- On 23 March, a UAV entered Lithuania from the territory of Belarus and exploded more than 20 km from the border. Lithuania's prime minister confirmed it was a Ukrainian drone.
