DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, believes that Russia's capture of Hryshyne near Pokrovsk may be only a matter of time. Meanwhile, the 7th Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces reports that Russian forces are launching frontal attacks on the village, but Ukrainian troops are holding back their advance.

Details: According to DeepState, Russian troops are actively moving infantry into Hryshyne in an attempt to gain a foothold in the settlement. Ukraine's defence forces are conducting search-and-destroy operations, identifying and wiping out Russian soldiers in houses on the northern outskirts of the village.

There are also isolated attempts by Russian units to penetrate deeper into the area near Vasylivka and Novooleksandrivka, although they have not been successful so far.

Quote from DeepState: "Given the dynamics of enemy pressure, the occupation of Hryshyne is only a matter of time, as the katsaps [Russians – ed.] are committing a large amount of manpower there, which is being concentrated in Pokrovsk.

The enemy plans to advance along the Hryshyne-Myrne-Hulieve-Shylivka line, etc., along the road to Pavlohrad, which is open terrain and not favourable for movement. Their main objective has already been achieved – they have cut it off through sustained fire."

Details: Meanwhile, the 7th Corps reported that Russian forces have been unable to bypass Hryshyne and are attempting frontal assaults on the village.

It added that attacks occur daily and involve infantry units alongside light vehicles, particularly ATVs and motorcycles.

The corps said its units deployed to defend the area are holding the lines set by the command and blocking Russian troops from advancing east towards the centre of Hryshyne.

Quote from the 7th Corps: "The enemy has recently lost several positions in the settlement."

More details: Meanwhile, intense fighting continues for Rodynske. According to DeepState, Russian forces are destroying the town with aerial bombs and using infiltration tactics – entering buildings after explosions and advancing deeper into the settlement.

The analysts add that, overall, Russian forces are focused on establishing control over the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration, which would enable them to accumulate resources and expand their offensive. Russian tube artillery has already been recorded on the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

In addition, the intensity of fighting on the Kostiantynivka front is increasing, now ranking second in terms of the number of assaults.

Background: DeepState previously reported that Russian forces had advanced near two villages in Donetsk Oblast and near Varvarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops carried out mop-up operations in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
