During Sunday's attack on Mezhova, a Russian bomb struck almost at the intersection of Nezalezhnosti Avenue and Sviato-Uspenska Street. Shops and houses were destroyed and damaged.

Another Russian guided aerial bomb – reportedly KAB-500 – hit the editorial office building directly. Houses on neighbouring streets were destroyed and damaged.

Mezhivskyi Merydian noted that issue No 12,219 of the newspaper was signed for print on 28 March, one day before the editorial office building disappeared.
