Russian drone crashes in Poltava community: 6 people injured

A Russian drone crashed in a residential area of the Poltava hromada, injuring six people, including children. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: "Early reports indicate that an enemy drone fell on the territory of private households in the Poltava hromada… Four people were initially reported injured, including a child."

Details: Earlier, the oblast administration had warned that a Russian UAV was heading towards Poltava.

At 17:30, Diakivnych reported that several houses, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged as a result of the crash. "Six people were injured, including three children aged 10, 13 and 17. One person was pulled from under the rubble by rescue workers. Five injured people received assistance on site, while one woman was hospitalised," he wrote.

Background:

Throughout 1 April, Russia has been attacking multiple oblasts of Ukraine with hundreds of drones. According to the Air Force, 298 drones were shot down or suppressed overnight.
On the morning of 1 April, drones struck a Nova Poshta terminal and food warehouses in Lutsk.
