Quote: "Symbolically, on 1 April, the Russian Defence Ministry once again claimed full control over Luhansk Oblast. In reality, Ukrainian forces – units of the 3rd Assault Brigade – remain in the area.
The Russians have conducted 144 assault attempts near Nadiia and Novoiehorivka over the past six months, including with 19 pieces of motorised equipment and over 360 Russian soldiers. Their irrecoverable losses amount to up to 260 personnel killed and more than 80 wounded."
Details: Ukrainian forces continue to hold defensive positions in the aforementioned settlements, as well as in Hrekivka, despite repeated Russian attempts to take full control of the oblast.
DeepState's map also shows these settlements as remaining outside Russian control.

Background: The Russian Defence Ministry claimed on 1 April that Russian forces had seized Luhansk Oblast as part of operations by the Zapad (West) group of forces.
