Zelenskyy speaks to Pope during Russian attack: "Easter escalation" instead of truce

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he had a conversation with Pope Leo XIV amid a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine.

Details: Zelenskyy told the Pope about the negotiation process and work with the US team. He also thanked Pope Leo for helping to bring back abducted Ukrainian children and for all the humanitarian assistance the Vatican has provided.
The conversation also covered the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf.
