Russian forces conducted a large-scale drone attack on the city of Odesa on the night of 5-6 April, destroying part of a high-rise residential building and injuring at least five people.

Details: Lysak said the strikes had hit residential areas in the Prymorskyi and Kyivskyi districts of the city.

Update: Lysak reported fatalities and further casualties at 07:00.

Quote: "Sadly, three people have been killed, including a child, as a result of the overnight enemy attack.

Ten people have been injured. Two people in a critical condition have been hospitalised: one patient is in neurosurgery, the other in the burn intensive care unit. Eight people are in a moderate condition, including a 2-year-old child and two teenagers aged 17 and 18. All are receiving the necessary medical treatment."

Details: A residential apartment complex and seven houses were damaged in the Prymorskyi district. One high-rise residential building, five houses, a private kindergarten, a shop and 27 cars were damaged in the Kyivskyi district.

Emergency and municipal services are working at the scenes and operational response centres have been set up.
