Quote: "Despite statements by the aggressor state about a so-called 'truce', enemy intelligence services have not abandoned their plans, continue to operate against Ukraine and resort to information and psychological special operations, provocations, terrorist attacks and sabotage."

Details: The security service said it regularly exposes Russian agents attempting to artificially incite conflicts between representatives of different denominations and religious communities. At the same time, SSU counterintelligence officers are uncovering attempts by the Russians to recruit Ukrainians to prepare terrorist attacks and adjust air strikes on civilian infrastructure across the country.

According to the SSU, Russia's main targets are places with large numbers of people, regardless of the purpose or location of civilian facilities.

Background: On the evening of 9 April, the Kremlin announced that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin had declared an "Easter truce", which is to run from 16:00 Moscow time on 11 April until the end of 12 April 2026.
