Details: Syniehubov said this concerns the evacuation of residents, as well as the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 12 settlements in the Shevchenkove hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] In total, 756 people, including 74 children, are to be relocated from this area to safer places.
The council also decided to carry out the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 11 settlements in the Velykyi Burluk hromada. This involves 34 families raising 54 children.
In addition, the meeting addressed the expansion of the network of safe educational environments. Where terrain conditions complicate the construction of full-scale bomb shelters with radiation protection functions, alternative solutions are being considered.
Special attention during the meeting was also given to preparations for the heating season. "We must jointly prepare all the necessary infrastructure of Kharkiv Oblast, first and foremost the city of Kharkiv, for connection to high-capacity generators," Syniehubov stressed.
