Details: Baghaei said Iran is refusing to engage in talks because the US has already violated the ceasefire agreement during its implementation. He also referred to the US's blockade of Iranian ports.

He added that Tehran cannot forget that the US attacked Iran during previous diplomatic negotiations.

The spokesperson stressed that Iran will continue to defend its national interests.

He said the Americans are playing a blame game which they continue to play instead of a constructive role. He stressed that the Iranians cannot expect the Americans to tell the truth, as they always blame Iran.
