Details: Kuleba said that ports have been attacked on average every five days since the beginning of the year. A total of 193 infrastructure facilities and 25 civilian vessels have been damaged.
"Despite this, operations have not stopped. As usual, the bulk of transhipment consists of grain – over 11.6 million tonnes. The metals part of the market is also operating steadily at 1.2 million tonnes," the minister said.
In addition, more than 63,000 standard 20-foot container units of cargo were handled over three months. This is 43% higher than in the same period last year.
Kuleba noted that since the launch of the Ukrainian maritime corridor in September 2023, more than 190 million tonnes of cargo have been transported through it, including over 110 million tonnes of grain.
Background: In January-February 2026, Ukraine exported 9.95 million tonnes of agricultural products worth US$4 billion, while foreign currency revenues increased by 9.3%. Maize exports rose by 20%, from 4.7 million tonnes to 5.6 million tonnes.
