Ukrainian defence ministry adviser in hospital after Shahed drone hit his home overnight

A drone struck the home of defence ministry adviser Serhii Beskrestnov during a Russian attack on the night of 19-20 April. The man has been taken to hospital.

Quote: "A guided jet-powered Shahed struck the wall of my house. I no longer have a home.
I was caught in the blast, but the main thing is that miraculously, I am alive."
Background:
- On the night of 19-20 April, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 142 Shahed (some of them jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones.
- As of 08:00, air defence had shot down or jammed 113 Russian UAVs.
- Hits by 28 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations, and the fall of downed UAVs (debris) at six locations.
- Local authorities reported that a 51-year-old man had been injured in Kyiv's Brovarskyi district.
