Two civilians killed and 13 injured in Russian attacks on Nikopol, Kharkiv and Kharkiv Oblast

Russian forces launched drone attacks on Nikopol and Kharkiv Oblast on 20 April: two women were killed in Nikopol and seven other people were injured; there were also casualties in Bohodukhiv and Kharkiv.

Quote from Hanzha: "Two people have been killed. The enemy attacked Nikopol with an FPV drone."

Details: A 77-year-old woman was killed instantly. Another woman, aged 83, was taken to hospital in an extremely critical condition. She could not be saved.

The Prosecutor's Office reported that seven people were injured due to the attack.

The Russians also damaged five-storey buildings, a house and cars.

Russian forces also used a drone to strike the town of Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv Oblast, hitting a petrol station. Three men aged 43, 45 and 64 were injured and taken to hospital. A fire broke out at the scene, and cars were damaged.

The police have opened criminal proceedings on charges of war crimes.

Russian forces also struck Kharkiv with a drone. Terekhov said a hit was recorded in the Osnovianskyi district. One person is known to have been injured, and information is being gathered on the aftermath.

Update: Syniehubov later reported that the number of those injured in the strike on Kharkiv's Osnovianskyi district had risen to three.

Background: On 20 April, Russian drones struck the town of Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast, injuring one person and causing a fire to break out at the district police station.
