Details: The EU ambassadors may give final approval to the €90 billion loan for Ukraine on 22 April.
The Cypriot Presidency told European Pravda that, in light of recent events, it has included an amendment to the regulation on the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) – the final element required to enable the disbursement of the €90 billion loan to Ukraine – on the agenda of the Coreper II meeting on Wednesday 22 April as a matter not requiring discussion.
The source speaking to European Pravda clarified that following approval at Coreper, a written procedure will be initiated for the final adoption of the amendments to the EU's multiannual budget.
This would mean that the decision could be adopted within 24 hours.
