Details: The initiative was dedicated to Victory Day. The prosecutor's office described it as a symbolic gesture in memory of the "feat of the Soviet people" during World War II.
Quote: "Employees of the prosecutor's office noted that participating in such initiatives is an opportunity to make a personal contribution to preserving the historical appearance of Tuapse and to express respect for the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
Now the Platanova tree alley will become even greener, and the planted trees will grow over time, reminding residents of the importance of preserving nature, history, and memory."
For reference: The Tuapse Oil Refinery (TOR) is a strategically important asset of Rosneft and one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, specialising in primary oil processing.
The plant in Tuapse was modernised in 2013 with the installation of the ELOU-AVT-12 refining unit, which has a processing capacity of up to 12 million tonnes of oil per year.
