Details: The operation was conducted jointly with the Unmanned Systems Forces, Security Service and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The oil terminal belongs to Rosneft and is part of the Tuapse oil refinery. The facility produces petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil and petrochemical feedstock for the domestic market and for export.
The Ukrainian drones damaged deepwater oil loading arms and pipelines, as well as tanks at the marine terminal and the Tuapse oil refinery. A large fire broke out at the scene.
Quote: "Striking the enemy's maritime and oil infrastructure diminishes its economic and logistics capabilities, as well as its ability to circumvent international sanctions and replenish its budget.
The Special Operations Forces conduct deep-strike attacks on enemy facilities deep inside Russian territory and continue to carry out asymmetric operations to strategically degrade the enemy's ability to wage war against Ukraine."
Previously: Videos and photographs of a fire and thick smoke rising from the oil refinery in Russia's Tuapse circulated online. Local authorities reported a drone attack.
